Acknowledgments

I’m a person who knows what it’s like to carry true passion for my job. I’m lucky enough that I’ve experienced it a handful of times throughout my life and hoped, in writing this book, to capture that kind of passion in the pursuits of both Madison and Clementine, who both love what they do. I also hope that joy is a little bit contagious and that you relish their journeys to a brand-new passion, each other.

It’s never easy to say good-bye to a group of characters, and the Tangle Valley gang was a definite favorite of mine to write. I hope you’ve enjoyed your time with the series as much as I did. I learned so much about wine tasting, wine making, Willamette Valley, and what goes into making a vineyard run smoothly. I can’t wait to visit again!

Many thanks to: Alan for not only all of the cheerleading and support, but for teaching me everything I needed to know about the hospitality industry. My mom for being a lifesaver in helping me carve out time to work in the midst of a pandemic with a toddler at home. My publishing friends (all of you) with special shout-outs to Nikki, Georgia, Rey, Carsen, Paula, Kris, and Fiona for pulling me along, making me laugh, and acting as my sounding board. You guys rock. To the fabulous folks at Bold Strokes for inspiring me, working with me, and helping me get better at what I do. There is no better place to work. Ruth, my editor, for seeing the forest for the trees when sometimes I couldn’t and for always breaking it to me kindly and with humor. To my readers, how I wish we could sit down and chat over a glass of wine, or coffee, or both. I’ll bring the snacks. I have very much enjoyed the conversations we have gotten to have along the way, however, as well as the emails, messages, and posts you’ve sent my way or tagged me in. I’m most grateful.

For the innovators.
