Omega Infused (Oak Grove #7) - Aria Grace Page 0,1

his big arms around both of us, cradling us in a big group hug. “Thank you, Logan. You have no idea how much this means to us.”

“You don’t have to thank me. I know you guys would do this for me.” I wiped the tears from my eyes and pulled back enough to look my brother’s alpha in the eye. “So, how do we do this? Do you and I just…”

“No!” Both Lance and Edward released me at the same time. “God, Logan, of course not!”

I laughed, slightly embarrassed but glad to break the tension in the room. “Fine, fine. So how do we do it?”

Lance smacked my shoulder, smiling. “We’ll make an appointment at the fertility center. Edward will make a deposit and they’ll inject it into you… It’s all very clinical.”

Now it was Edward’s turn to look embarrassed. “Sorry, kid. You don’t get a piece of this.”

“Stop teasing him.” Lance rolled his eyes and smacked his alpha before looking back at me. “He’s giving us the most amazing gift anyone ever could.”

I smiled and blinked back tears. “I’d give you anything, bro.”

Henry

(Eight months later)

I tossed my bag on one bed then dropped onto the other, falling flat on my back from exhaustion. “Home sweet home.”

Well, it wasn’t exactly home. It was the Oak Grove Hotel, one of the oldest hotels in the city. But for the next seven days, it was my home away from home. I came to town for a job interview, and Corey, my favorite cousin, talked me into staying a few days so we can catch up. We haven’t spent much time together since I moved away from Oak Grove with my parents after high school.

That was ten years ago.

Corey was only fifteen when I moved away, but he was like a brother to me. An annoying little brother who always followed me around and showed up wherever me and my friends were hanging out. But he was a cool kid and I was looking forward to spending some time with him. Apparently, he was some kind of master flair bartender. I had to look up the term when he first told me about how he threw bottles in the air and could pour a perfect martini from behind his back to entertain his customers for huge tips.

But since I didn’t entirely believe what he was saying, I figured it would be a good time to watch him in action.

Just as my eyes started to drift shut from exhaustion after the drive, my phone buzzed in my pocket. “Oh, what now?” I rolled to my side and pulled out my phone.

Corey’s goofy smile flashed on my screen.

“Hey, kid.” I looked up from the phone and stared out the window. I didn’t even notice the view of the pool when I walked out, but now that I could relax, it was looking pretty good. “What’s up?”

“Henry, hey! You in town yet?”

“Yeah, just got into my room a few minutes ago.” I toed off my shoes and socks. “I was just about to call you.”

“Yeah, right!” He laughed. “I bet you’re swiping right as we speak.”

“Nah, not yet.” I guess he knew me better than I thought. “Think I might go for a swim.”

“Yeah, you should. That pool is a hotbed of gorgeous guys. I know a bunch of people who go there for lunch just to watch the eye candy.”

Now that he mentioned it, I was a little hungry. “Sounds good to me. I could use a snack.”

“Gah!” Corey pretended to puke. “I’ll let you do your thing tonight, but I’m picking you up at noon tomorrow and then I’m taking you on a tour of our old stomping ground before I have to go to work.”

“You mean before you start doing backflips over the counter while you pour drinks?” No matter how old he got, he’d never be too old for me to give him shit.

He laughed, probably anticipating that. “Well, it’s more of a cartwheel than a backflip, but it gets the guys going, either way.”

“Yeah, I’m sure it does.” I stood up so I could change into my swim shorts. “I’ll see you tomorrow at noon. But text before you come in case I still have company.”

I disconnected the call and shrugged out of my clothes. If this was a different kind of hotel, I would have just walked out my garden patio door and headed to the pool naked. But, it wasn’t that kind of place, so I had to put
