he’s not the jealous type?”

“Make him jealous.”

“Make him?” Hmm. That’s an intriguing twist. “OK.” She turns, ready to head over to Zach and his ladies. I pull her back. “But are you sure you wanna play this game?”

“Games are fun,” she coos. Then she tugs me into the swarm of sweaty bodies until we’re dancing right up next to Zach.

Dandelion is grinding against his ass while Straps holds on to Zach’s face with both hands like she’s about to kiss him. She even leans up to do that, but Zach pulls off a slick dance move and spins her around.

I laugh. No one hears me because the music is too loud. And Euphemia is too fixated on reaching Zach to pay attention to me.

Zach catches my eye, then spots Euphemia and shoots me a confused look.

I hold up one finger, shooting him the ‘give me a sec’ sign, and he begins dancing again.

That’s another thing I love about Zach Boston. He’s a willing participant in just about everything. You could walk up to Zach and say, Hey, I’m gonna jump out of a plane this afternoon. You in? And he’d be all, Fuck, yeah, I love wind.

You could wake him up in the middle of the night and say, I think I’ll build a chicken coop in the backyard. You in? And he’d be all, Fuck, yeah. Fresh eggs every day. Let’s do it.

So this? What I’m setting up right here? This is nothing compared to the shit he’s up for. Hell, he’d be into taking all three of these girls home. But three? Nah. That sounds complicated to me. Besides, Dandelion is a little rough around the edges for my taste and I have a feeling that she and Straps are a two-for-one deal.

So I’m happy to give pink-haired Princess Euphemia a try tonight.

Besides, he must already like her if he told her to meet up with him for a repeat session.

Euphemia is talking to him now. Zach concentrates on her for a few moments and Straps starts tugging on his arm to make him look at her. But Zach is giving Euphemia his full attention. Then he laughs and looks at me.

I wink at him and the game begins.

Zach leans into Straps’s ear and says something. She looks mad. Then she slaps him, grabs Dandelion’s hand, and pushes her way through the crowd.

Euphemia and Zach turn to me. Then Euphemia leans into my space and says, “Come on. He’s in.”

I grab her and force myself to look uneasy at this new development. “In for what?”

She leans way up into my ear now. “Us. Both of us.” Then she pulls back and winks. “I told you. You just gotta put yourself out there.”

Zach grabs her hand and begins tugging her through the crowd towards the outer edges of the club. Euphemia has my hand, so I get tugged along too. And I can’t help myself. I am grinning. Excited about what kind of act Zach is planning.

I come up with my scenario as we walk, then he’s pushing his way through the back door of the club. This takes us out into an alley just a few blocks away from the Miami Beach Marina where my yacht is docked.

The thumping bass follows us out, but the club door closes and it takes a moment to get used to the new hushed version of the music.

Zach lets out a long breath and whips his shirt over his head. Euphemia and I both pause to study the cut muscles of his back and the way the sweat drips down the line of his spine. She glances at me and grins. Pretty much waggling her eyebrows.

I agree with a nod. And then Zach is facing us again. “Posie!” he yells. He opens his arms and they embrace in a hug. “I thought you ditched me!”

“Posie?” I mumble. Hmm. That’s pretty sweet. Kinda like her perfume.

She pulls back, still gazing up at Zach’s unbelievably handsome face. “I got caught up.”

Zach’s blue eyes slide over to me. “This guy?”

I hold my breath. Waiting to see how we’re gonna play it.

Posie jumps in without missing a beat. “My boyfriend, Andy.”

“Andy, huh?” Zach winks at me.

I offer him my hand. “Nice to meet you…”

“Zach,” he says. All flair. So slick.

We shake. “Zach.” I say his name and look him in the eyes. And God damn, I could look at him forever.

Posie butts in. “Yep. I told you, remember? That I had a boyfriend? Last weekend when
