in with Security.”

“Good catch. Banks?”

“Since you asked, you agree with Jinx?” He waits for Cort’s nod. “I’ll get on it. Raid has everything I need?”

I shake my head no. Raid would kill me for adding to his plate. “I have it, Brother. Can you stay at the guest house here?”

He nods. “I need to be back by Wednesday.”

Cort stands. “Get this settled with Security on each flight. The tourist companies aren’t a good comparison.”

“No, I have some numbers and information from flight transport. It’s on a hologram board with reviews in case you asked.” I shrug as he smiles at me.

“Good job, Brother. I like the new boards too. Everything looks easier on the new ones. So, get Banks and Beacon up to where you are and Banks’ll bring it to Raid and Lorelei. I’ll get with Falcon about training more crews for straight transport. VIP Security and transport needs to be listed in detail so everyone knows their job.”

“We need the information going out as soon as it’s settled. The bookings may come in faster with it out there for openings. I feel like I’m being pushed to get it done, like it’s a business that should start with the others, or something.”

Cort nods looking at Banks. I’m relieved when he nods too. “I can see that. When Security got a chopper for transport, the clients jumped in trying to one-up the others. Jinx already has a plan for this. I’m on it, Pres.”

Cort slaps his back with a smile. “You always are. Thanks, Brothers. Good catch, Jinx. I’ll be here this week, call if you need me.”

“Always. Thanks, Boss.”

With a hug, Cort and Ranger take off. Banks is smiling. “You do have a plan, don’t you?”

I have to laugh at that. Banks taught me more about money and plans than school did. “You know it. I wouldn’t have said anything unless I was prepared for his questions. Why didn’t he ask anything?” This is a lot of fucking money we’re talking about.

“It’s the puzzle thing. You told him up front what he would have asked. The other thing is he knows you, Brother. You look for answers just like he does.”

“Yeah. Thanks for showing, Brother. I’ll get a Prospect on getting the house ready for you.”

He smiles throwing chin at the Brother waiting for him. “I was staying overnight anyway. I’m meeting Stanley and Dan in the morning.”

Fucking Brothers. I hug him. “Congrats, Banks. I’m glad you’re you and mine, Brother.”

He salutes me then walks away with the Brother. He never told me the Brother’s name so he isn’t sticking. I sit and text the Prospects then pet Champ. “Other than Debra not staying, it was a pretty good night, Brother.” Looking toward the fire I see the Brothers still going strong. The music is loud and beer flowing. This was a good idea. Bikes are circling off to the side. I’d normally be there holding the circle and pushing for faster. “Next one, Brother. I’ll play the next one.”

Champ’s head hits my leg. He knows I’ll at least try. Every day is new with new shit to see and more to learn. I’ve always loved learning new shit. “Let’s go, Brother. I have some good lessons to add to the book.”

Champ is up and I hold his collar walking back. The sand makes this a little tougher than grass to walk in. It’s been another no fall day so I’m holding on. Beacon is with Creed and Cam.

“Brothers, I’m out. I’ll see you on the sunny side.”

Beacon turns. “You will, VP. Thanks for getting this done. It fell perfect.”

I throw him chin. “Have fun, Brothers.” I start walking up the hill holding my beast’s collar so I keep facing up. Rolling down it would suck.

Michaels shows on the side of me. “I’m your detail back, VP.” The VP always throws me when it’s older Brothers. I nod acknowledging him. “Do you need someone in front of you?”

I shake my head. “No, my vision is at almost two-eighty. Flashes throw me but I see everything close.”

“Let me know if lights coming at you is a problem. We’ll stay in formation unless you say.” He’s so easy going.

“I’ll let you know.”

The back road to the compound is deserted making this a nice ride. Hannah was right, the wind is good for clearing your head no matter what you’re riding. I need to put it in the book.
